Gurren-Lagann, yay!
I've finally caught up on Gurren-Lagann. I missed it last week because of Comic City, the week before that because of Comiket, and the week before that because I just forgot. Right now I'm watching episode 23.

I'd been disappointed in the show for a few weeks, but the awesome has come back, and so has Yoko (her teacher episode was brilliant, and she's been generally wonderful ever since), and so has the gay (naked prison fighting, yes plz). I'm totally starting to see Simon/Viral, though I don't think it'll be replacing my OTP. But I wonder if we'll end up with a situation where, like a doubles match in Prince of Tennis, anyone who pilots the Gurren is having sex with Simon. ^_~ Well, maybe not Kinon. Though Simon/Rossiu/Kinon...

And also, Yoko/Nia FTW. Why isn't anyone writing this? Yoko can save her from being Kaguya-Nia with the power of boobs and badassery!

I've got to say, the face on the moon reminded me of that particular incident in CFUD. Though the CFUD face was scarier.
