I think I made a fool of myself in front of my flatmates watching Gurren-Lagann today, but whatever. Timestream-punching! Kamina! Alterni-Kamina! Human Boota! Kamina! Nia's great big drill-ring! Kamina some more!

It pleases my shipper heart that Simon's world was about him and Kamina. Not Nia, not Yoko, not even Boota, just Kamina. Even if he was a wimpy Kamina. Now that I think of it, that particular Kamina might have suited that OOC Simon x Kamina dojinshi I have. And Viral's world, well, that was certainly unexpected. I wonder if she was someone he knew, or if she was just a random wife-figure? I think I'd prefer the former. But if Viral has a secret love for children, maybe he can go help out at Yoko's school once it's all over. It's also interesting that one of Yoko's visions was of her marrying Kittan.

I was thinking 'This is so Gainax' at a lot of points throughout the episode. They seem to have a fondness for alternate universe epsiodes, don't they?

Edit: Simon is taller than Kamina WTF WTF WTF. Also next week's preview was kind of boring. I mean, last week we had little-Simon and kowtowing Kamina and does everyone else see the anteater, but this week was just battles and explosions. Boring.
