Gurren-Lagan - The End
That was an EPIC BATTLE, for sure. Nia got quite cool by the end. I was disappointed Boota went back to his molepig form, I wanted to see more Beastman-Boota. I really loved when the smaller Gurren-Lagann came out like a Russian doll, and then Viral tossed Lagann at the Anti-Spirals. It seemed very appropriate. I knew something was going on with Nia, but I didn't expect her to just vanish at the end without coming back. I felt really sorry for Simon, he didn't need to lose another loved one! I wish we'd heard more from ghost-Kamina too.

Everyone got ugly at the end. Especially Rossiu, ew. Although I'm pretty sure he was voiced by Nataka Joji, so that's a plus for him! It was nice that it ended on such a hopeful note. And it looked like the uniforms they were wearing were supposed to look like Anti-Spiral Nia, so that's a nice tribute to her.

So it's over. If there was a preview of what will be replacing it next week, I missed it. What I am going to watch now?
